About Munson Electric, Inc.

Founded in 1964 by Robert C. Munson, Munson Electric has been an integral part of the development of Cedar Rapids. One of the first projects undertaken by the company was the development of the Collins Radio Campus in northeast Cedar Rapids.

In 1997, Erik and Becky Munson purchased the company from Erik's parents and today continue the tradition of quality electrical work and excellent service.

With a staff of over 60 employees, our highly skilled electricians receive over four years of classroom training and 10,000 hours of on-the-job training. With an average length of employment of over 13 years at Munson Electric, our staff is dedicated to providing you with excellent service and quality craftsmanship.
